Beachcombing

Renowned for its untouched rugged beauty the Shipwreck Coast blends tranquil swimming beaches, great breaks and the rocky outcrops of the Bay of Islands & 12 Apostles. Visit Australia’s oldest surviving lighthouse, Cape Otway Lighthouse .  Find the relics of some of the many a vessels that came to rest in this stretch of coastline. And if you don’t want to travel, the world famous Johanna Beach is right on your door step.

Natural Wonders

Venture through the Great Otway National Park to Cape Otway, the southernmost point of the Great Ocean Road region. Witness some of Victoria’s most remote and beautiful rainforest and coastal scenery.  Find inspiration from the Melba Gully glow worms, one of the many spectacular Waterfalls or the giant Redwood forest.  Or simply discover native birds and Australian Marsupials in The Roost’s backyard.
